Community Thank You – Open Letter from DAC Executive Director LaVern Scharmer

March 31, 2017

The Winona County Developmental Achievement Center (DAC) would like to thank everyone who helped make our 10th Annual Auction and Casino Night at Signatures restaurant a huge success.  We had a great crowd and are proud to announce that we raised just over $25,000 that will all stay right here in Winona and will benefit the DAC and individuals with developmental disabilities.  This event would not have been a success without the support of this great community.  We would like to thank everyone who donated to the auction, all of you who attended the night and all the volunteers who made the auction possible.  The DAC would like to give a special thank you to our celebrity blackjack dealers for spending the evening with us and making the event very enjoyable for everyone.  We would also like to say thank you to our auctioneer Jon Kohner for volunteering his time and making sure our live auction was a success.  We appreciate the support from this great community and look forward to many more successful events with you.  Thank you!

Sincerely,

LaVern Scharmer
